Blogging has indeed made its mark in the world. I know so because I have been a fan of some bloggers for quite some time now and a lot of people are too. It's amazing how bloggers create a following from people who can be considered total strangers. They have somehow become my idols--not only do I idolize, but idols who I want to imitate. I can think of a number of reasons why blogging can change the world.
- with just a click, readers are exposed to different worlds, different views
- makes us more open minded
- we can be paperless--blogging can serve as the new "newspaper/magazine reading"
- a good alternative job
- it makes the blogger want to learn new things and write about them
- encourages sharing (sharing information as a start)
- can serve as an outlet for venting
- this makes you less prone to commit a crime--or something milder
- can result to less pollution as work is done at home most of the time
- income's good, i hear
- parents who choose blogging over a regular job will have more time for their children
- children whose parents (esp mothers) are seen more at home, are more guided
- this makes them more likely to be good citizens
- this is good because the children are our future
- these future parents have a high chance of raising good children too
- and the chain reaction goes on and on...
All these squeezed out of my mind because there's something going on over at
WhenInManila.com. I can actually win P50,000 Worth of Scholarships from
MavenSecrets.com at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) because of this! Thanks to Anton Diaz of
OurAwesomePlanet.com for this!
